Wetmore sits at the junction of Colorado Highways 96 and 67 in northern Custer County, southeast of Canon City and Florence. It is a rural community of ranches and acreage homes, and the nearest full-service repair shops are a drive away in Florence, Canon City or Pueblo. Under the Bus Auto brings mobile auto repair and maintenance to Wetmore so your vehicle can be serviced at home.
Why Wetmore Residents Use a Mobile Mechanic
In rural areas, getting a car or truck to a shop often takes two vehicles and two drivers, or a tow. Mobile service removes that problem. We come to your property, work on the vehicle where it is parked, and explain what we find before any work begins.

Ranch and Work Vehicles
A ranch truck that will not start in the morning stops more than the commute. We work on light-duty and diesel pickups and can set up regular maintenance for a small group of vehicles so service happens on a schedule, not after a breakdown. Learn about our fleet maintenance options.
Winter on Highway 96 and Highway 67
Wetmore’s elevation and open terrain bring cold mornings and wind-driven snow. Before winter, have the battery tested, check antifreeze protection, inspect tires, replace worn wipers and confirm the heater and defroster work properly. For diesel trucks, winter-grade fuel management and block heater checks are also worth scheduling. See winter vehicle maintenance.
Service Area Note
Wetmore is in Custer County, just outside Fremont County. Our no-mileage-charge policy applies inside Fremont County, so please mention your location when you call and we will explain any trip charge before scheduling.
